About Nu Flo

The Nu Flo Officials Association (NFOA) exists to develop a strong learning culture for current and future officials, leading through mentorship and example, and optimizing skills within our community to enhance both on-court performance and off-court professionalism.

There are no dues or membership fees at this time. If you are interested in becoming a member, please fill out the interest form here.

NFOA membership status:

  • Active Members: Licensed IHSA volleyball officials in good standing with NFOA and IHSA.
  • Probational/Apprentice Members: These are officials in the initial stages of joining NFOA and may be subject to additional training or observation.
  • Inactive Members: Former active members not currently officiating but wishing to remain affiliated.

Membership requirements:

  • Must be a licensed IHSA official.
  • Attend a minimum of two NFOA meetings per season.
  • Participate in an observation or mentoring program if applicable.

This is our second official meeting of the season, and your attendance counts toward eligibility for the upcoming boys’ season. Remember, you must attend 2 of the 3 meetings to remain eligible.
