Michael Flowers has been a dedicated volleyball official since 2015, bringing nearly a decade of experience, professionalism, and integrity to the court. Based in the Chicagoland Area, Illinois, Michael has officiated across high school, club, and community levels, earning respect for his fairness, composure, and knowledge of the game.
In 2025, Michael, alongside a team of officials, established the Nu Flo Officials Association (NFOA)—an organization committed to developing future officials, leading through mentorship, and optimizing skills within the officiating community. Guided by its mission, vision, and pillars of Future, Lead, and Optimize, NFOA serves the Greater Lakes Region and surrounding IHSA conferences as a hub for growth, integrity, and excellence in officiating.
With a strong background in education, leadership, and sports management, Michael combines his academic expertise with his passion for officiating to mentor others, support athlete development, and elevate the standard of volleyball officiating.
